Xenarc Technologies Corp. introduces the world's first 1-DIN touchscreen monitor / DVD receiver that was designed with In-Car Computing in mind. This unit suits you well whether you are installing In-Car computer now or you just want to have a regular receiver that could be used with a computer in the future.

This advanced DIN touchscreen monitor / DVD receiver plays video DVDs and audio CDs like a regular head-unit. You can control all the functions including DVD playback and changing your Radio channels through its touchscreen. The built-in 55Wx4 amplifier provides ample sound to your car speakers for your various input sources. And the fun begins when you switch the unit to PC mode. Its touchscreen turns into a input device that works like a mouse where you can click, select, and drag. Its slot-load DVD drive turns into a DVD-ROM that works just like an external USB DVD-ROM drive. The built-in 2 port USB hub allows you to connect USB devices to your computer with ease. The multi-function remote control allows you to control windows media playback functions. And you get all these with only one simple USB connection to your computer. There is even a front PC power button that allows you to control the power of your In-Car Computer. With all these features, you can use this monitor as the front end control unit and hide away your In-Car Computer underneath the seat or inside your trunk. And with the future in mind, the unit has a VGA (D-Sub15) input, as well as a DVI-D digital input. Built with the finest materials, its automotive grade LCD panel looks brighter than other LCD panels of the same brightness rating. And the unit's Piano black finish and high quality dark chrome electroplated knobs are examples of the extra steps we took.
